More Pictures

Progress

I was surprised to get these pictures from Dani yesterday. Joe, Gary and Little Joe hammered away on Saturday, almost completing the first floor outside walls... We are ahead of schedule in my book now. I was expecting to come home in two weeks to a sub floor, thanks guys...

Subfloor

Joe and Trevor were able to get the subfloor on last weekend. Word has it a few walls were built this week... We used TJI I beam floor joists to eliminate the need for any supports in the basement. Heres the latest...

Unfortunately I am now back at work, but the work has continued... Dan, Joe and Dani having been graciously putting in lots of overtime at the house!

Dan and Joe dug the trench to run electricity down from the road last night...

First load of lumber has arrived!

Foundation waterproofing is on and the footing drain is in. You can see the risers showing where we will stub in the drains for the gutters eventually...

Walkout end with some back fill now in to start leveling it up...

Dani and Joe spent Saturday laying the radiant PEX tubing that will run throughout the basement floor...

With a few delays due to pump clogging we got the walls poured just in time before a big rain...

Walls are ready...

We ended up with a foot of snow on Wednesday and then 85 degrees on Sunday. Luckily the snow didn't stick around too long, but it was enough to push us back a few days. Walls are ready for concrete and we will be using a boom pump tomorrow to fill them up.

The ICF's went together pretty smoothly, once we got a few rows set a level they flew up, took us a little longer to fit the walk out door and windows in, but it all worked out well.

Also managed to get the footing drain in today, now we will be ready to back fill when our concrete is all set up.
